The Severn Estuary Partnership (SEP) is an independent, estuary-wide initiative coordinated by local authorities and statutory agencies, but involving all those involved in the management of the estuary, from planners to port authorities, fishermen to farmers. It was set up in 1995 to ensure the sustainable management of the Severn Estuary and its surroundings; enhancing and protecting the area for the benefit of the community, the environment and the economy.
