The Berwickshire & North Northumberland Coast EMS is a cross-border site which stretches from Alnmouth in North East England, to Fast Castle Head in South East Scotland. The site encompasses approximately 635 square kilometres of shore and sea including the Farne Island, Holy Island, and the Sta Abbs and Eyemouth Voluntary Marine Reserve. The site is managed through a Management Group, which is made up of all the relevant and competant authorities with duties towards the designation. Management and governance is supported by a Steering Group and an Implementation Officer.
